Common Questions From Festival-Goers

When does the festival Start?
Friday 12th September 2025 —  Gates open 6 pm!
Saturday 13th September 2025 —  Gates open 5:30 pm!
How much do Tickets cost?
Tickets are available through our website - Click the yellow Tickets Button. Ticket Prices as follows:
  • Friday night Kid's Night — €25 per Family

  • Friday night Adult Music Event — 9pm FREE ENTRY! (Over 18's)

  • Saturday night Standard Event Ticket — €35 Access to all Stages

  • Saturday night Premium Event Ticket — €50 Includes 4 Bar Tokens

  • Weekend Camping Ticket — €20 Online only, purchased as an Add-on

Is there Parking available at the festival?
Yes, limited parking is available in a designated grass field at the festival site. Additional parking can be found in Kilmeedy village, but please be mindful to park safely and avoid blocking driveways or local access routes. We appreciate your cooperation!.
Is there Bus Services available at the festival?
Yes, Paudie Kenneally Coaches will be in operation to ferry people to and from the event.
Contact  087 354 8869 to book your journey in advance. Pay your driver at drop-off. (Cash Only)

Is Camping available?
Yes — but only with advance online booking. A limited camping area is available in a designated grass field at the festival site.

How many Stages are there at Full Moon Rising?
There are Three stages at Full Moon Rising:
  • Main Stage

  • Shebeen Stage

  • Leen-To Stage

Is there a Bar at the event?
Yes. There are three Bars serving draught beer and a Cocktail Bar.
Beverages include:
Draught - Heineken, Coors, Guinness, Murphys, Orchard Thieves & Heineken 00
Cans - Heineken, Coors, Budweiser, Bulmers, West Coast Cooler Original & Rose
Spirits - All the usual + Pink Gin, Gin 00, Malibu, and Jägermeister
Minerals - Coca Cola, Fanta, Still Water
How much do Drinks cost at the event?
All Beverages are 1 Token except Cocktails are 2 Tokens, and Minerals are 2 for 1 Token.
All Beverages must be paid for with Tokens only.
Where do I get Tokens?
Tokens are available throughout the festival from the Token Cottage.
A small cottage with window counters sell Tokens that pay for festival services.

Are there Food Stalls Food Stalls & What do they offer?
Yes, you'll find a great selection of food stalls offering delicious snacks, meals, and treats throughout the festival. Whether you're after something hearty, healthy, or sweet, there's something for everyone. Full details on food vendors will be announced soon — stay tuned!
Root's Shop & Cafe are open 9 am to 5pm daily.
Is there a ATM cash machine at the event?
There is no ATM on site, but card payments are accepted at all Points of Sale, including for bar tokens and other services. If you do need cash, the nearest ATMs are located in Dromcollogher (9.8 km) and Newcastle West (16.4 km).
Is there a Lost Property system at the event?
Yes. Please contact a FMR festival steward or you can message us on our Facebook page.
Is there First Aid or medical services on site?
Yes. There is a full ambulace service on site.
When does the festival Finish?
The festival ends at 1.30am — Sunday 14th September
