School of Rock at Full Moon Rising Kilmeedy music festival is all about giving young musicians the chance to shine — no pressure, no competition, just music, fun, and experience.

If you’re in a band, a duo, or a solo act and you’re under 18, we’d love to hear your sound. Whether you play indie, punk, pop, metal, or something totally unique, this is your chance to perform in front of your peers and the Full Moon Rising crowd.

Here’s what you’ll get to experience:

  • Play your music on a professional festival stage

  • Build your confidence and stage presence

  • Connect with other young artists and music lovers

  • Share your sound with a whole new audience

The School of Rock showcase kicks off the Full Moon Rising weekend on Friday, 11th September 2026, and promises to be one of the most exciting nights of the festival. To apply send us:

  • Your act's name

  • A short description of your music

  • An Adult (gaurdian) contact phone number

  • A short recording of your act (if available, no pressure)

Carrie Fitz

Friday – School of Rock

Carrie Fitz is a singer-songwriter from Tramore, Co. Waterford, writing catchy Pop/Rock songs with a contemporary edge. Carrie currently has three original songs available across all major streaming platforms and draws inspiration from artists including Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo and Gracie Abrams, alongside bands such as Green Day. Joining Carrie on stage at Full Moon Rising will be her brother, Henry Fitz, playing bass.

Matthew Brouder

Friday – School of Rock

Matthew Brouder is a 17-year-old guitarist and musician from Newcastle West. Having recently started sharing guitar covers on TikTok, Matthew is building a growing audience and developing his own sound. His musical influences include Mumford & Sons, Zach Bryan and Sam Fender, bringing together elements of folk, rock and modern singer-songwriter styles. Matthew is excited to bring his guitar playing to the School of Rock stage at Full Moon Rising.

Big Toe

Friday – School of Rock

Big Toe are a four-piece band from Ennis and Tipperary Town, featuring Oisin Frazer on lead guitar and vocals, Eoghan Hayes on rhythm guitar and vocals, Sarah Bourke on bass and vocals, and Oisin Tierney on drums. Drawing inspiration from The Doors, The Hold Steady and the sounds of 1970s rock, Big Toe bring a classic rock influence to their own energetic sound. They’re ready to bring the noise to the School of Rock stage at Full Moon Rising.

Banjaxxed

Friday – School of Rock

Banjaxxed are a three-piece punk rock band made up of Declan Kelly, Liam Collins and Jamie Mulcahy. Playing original songs with a raw, energetic punk rock sound, the band bring plenty of attitude and youthful energy to the stage. Catch Banjaxxed as they take on the School of Rock stage at Full Moon Rising.
